Job Description

We are looking for a Research Intern to join a creative and motivated Engineering team and participate in the design of a new generation of innovative tools to guide minimally invasive medical procedures. The duration of the internship is 6 months.
The Research Intern will work with the Research group on image processing algorithms and associated tools, based on both classical methods and deep learning.

Your missions will be the following:

• Realize a state-of-art study,
• Propose an action plan with different options and associated design strategy,
• Build datasets required for the implementation,
• Implement the selected solution as a proof of concept,
• Hold regular demo,
• Evaluate and validate the implemented solution,
• Document design and results.

Profile

• Pursuing a MSc in Applied Mathematics / Statistics, Machine Learning or Computer Vision.
• You have programming skills, mainly in Python.
• You have knowledge of classical and deep learning image processing algorithms.
• You have excellent communication and documentation skills.
• You speak technical English and French.
• You are motivated, curious, and open-minded.
• Ideally, you have knowledge of medical imaging.
