Quantum Surgical, an innovative surgical robotic company, is pleased to announce the creation of its Scientific Advisory Board, who met for the first time on April 8 in Amsterdam.
This Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is a multi-disciplinary board composed of international experts in the field of image-guided interventional oncology:
- Prof. Guy Vallancien (FR), Urology surgeon, recognized as an international pioneer in the development of laparoscopic and robotic surgery, member of the French National Academy of Medicine, the Parliamentary Office for the Evaluation of Scientific and Technological Choices and founder of the European School of Surgery;
- Prof. Luigi Solbiati (IT), Interventional radiologist, pioneer of percutaneous liver ablation techniques, former head of the oncological interventional radiology department at Busto Arsizio Hospital (Varese, Lombardy);
- Prof. David C. Madoff (US), Interventional Radiologist, Head of Academic Affairs at New York Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Hospital, former Chief of Interventional Radiology;
- Prof. Boris Guiu (FR), Interventional Radiologist, Head of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Saint Eloi – CHU of Montpellier and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Montpellier-Nîmes;
The Quantum Surgical team will be able to consult these experts and benefit from their advice in the development and clinical launch of its product.
